Guitar Pro 6: Part 1
With the arrival of my new iMac I’ve been playing around with some of the extended options I now have in regards to creating videos. The one featured here is being able to screen capture video through Quicktime. When I figured out I could do this, I instantly knew I had to make a tutorial series on the tabbing program, Guitar Pro 6.
Guitar Pro 6 is the premium tablature creating software on the market today. No, it’s not free, but like most good software it’s worth the money. I once ran Powertab (a freeware tab program) like a pro and thought it was great. But now I look back and cringe at the appearance of my old Powertabs, realizing how much better Guitar Pro is at just about everything. depending on the day, it can currently be had on Amazon for $50-60.
Here is the first video in my five part series about using Guitar Pro to make ‘ukulele tabs – an overview of its features. The video is full 1080p HD so view it in fullscreen to see the details better.
