Interesting way to Memorize Chord Shapes

I was cruising ‘Ukulele Underground yesterday and found an interesting concept. Buddy McCue has drawn out a chart that portrays the different D7 chord shapes as elements. Each shape has been integrated into a picture of ether fire, air, water, or earth. It’s a little far out, but I like the whole artsy feel to the idea. I don’t want to cop his picture, so here is a link: http://www.ukuleleunderground.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12942. Thanks Buddy for the cool idea.

Feel free to cop the picture with my full permission. It’s just a sketch after all.

In fact, I’m glad that my strange little idea is appreciated. I’ll have to draw up a nicer version in Illustrator or something and post it on my Flickr page, with some text that says that the drawing is free to use, print or distribute.
