Maybe was one of the first to tap with one finger, but...... see stanley jordan site, enver ismailov, read history of tapping and follow links..... true bad ass tapping is right hand multi-finger, i use a 1958 koa banana style soprano uke to warm up and then tapping my guitar seems a lot easier.
