Remember those pictures of an old 60s-era electric ‘ukulele I posted a couple months ago? It’s just about done. (Lets call it “fully functional”.) While on summer break I wired up a workable pickup switching system and got some help from friends to rout out the pickup cavities and make a nut and bridge. All that’s left is to paint it! Anyways, here’s a quick sound sample.
Thanks to Bill Ford (of Windward ‘Ukuleles) for his his woodworking skills, Joe Mann for a mean, hand-ground (and completely level) aluminum bridge, and my brother, Evan Bordessa, for filming me on a windy Honoka’a day.
