The Kani Ka Pila Circle

Somebody requested/suggested I write an article about the format of a standard Hawaiian-style kani ka pila – or ukulele jam session. Here it is – some information about how we roll in Hawai’i when we get together and play songs. It talks about the circle format when songs and solos are passed around and how to balance out volumes.
