Solo Arranging Crash Course Workshop REPLAY

This is a replay of an hour and a half long Zoom workshop on solo arranging. The live event has already happened, but you can still purchase access to the workshop recording.

What you’ll learn:

Solo arranging is the act of putting the chords and the melody of a song together at the same time on a single ukulele. This creates the illusion that there are two ukuleles playing different parts.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to pick melodies and place them in an ideal spot, incorporate chords by using the appropriate voicing, and create a strum/pick flow that pushes the rhythm along.

We’ll work through “Amazing Grace” and “Maori Brown Eyes” so by the end of the session you understand how to take a simple melody lead sheet and turn it into a fully-fledged performance piece.
